THE PRINCIPLEChannels in the pump impeller are extended to form a sharp-edged spiral cone which rotates against a fixed knife with an adjustable, hardened steel blade. THE RESULTTHE SHEARING ACTION does not macerate or grind, but reduces the solids in suspension to a manageable size ensuring easy flow. THE ADVANTAGES

6 DIFFERENT TYPES TO CHOOSE FROM | |
R: STATIONARY SUBMERSIBLE Installed in wet wells via a guide rail system. The
pump can be easily lowered or removed irrespective of liquid level.
|
AN: DRY WELL WITH TEFC MOTOR For permanent installation in dry wells or separate
pump station. The motor can be fitted with an optional flywheel which
evens out surges and inconsistencies in the liquid flow. MENGIN dry well
cutter pumps operate in a clean, dry environment facilitating inspection
and maintenance work.
|
|
S: FREE STANDING Free standing in wet wells in a
non-permanent position. The pump is portable between wells and easily
adapts to existing pipework.
|
V: VERTICAL SUBMERGED
For pumping hot or highly corrosive liquids, the pump is immersed
in the liquid and is connected to the external drive motor via a vertical
shaft.
|
|
A: DRY WELL WITH SUBMERSIBLE MOTOR For permanent installation
in dry wells which can periodically flood. The submersible motor ensures
that the pump remains operational, even when submerged.
